Our New CNC Machine at Derwen Joinery

At Derwen Joinery, we are always looking for ways to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of our work. In December, we took an exciting step forward with the arrival of our new CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine – a major investment that enhances what we can offer our clients without compromising on craftsmanship.

This addition allows us to combine traditional joinery skills with modern precision technology, delivering even better results across all our bespoke projects. A CNC machine uses computer-controlled cutting to shape timber with exceptional accuracy and consistency. Once a design is programmed, the machine can cut, drill, and shape components to exact measurements every time.

While the technology is advanced, it doesn’t replace skilled joinery  – it supports it. Every project is still designed, checked, and finished by our experienced team.
